Manicaragua is among the three municipalities in the province with the lowest numbers of adult and pediatric population vaccinated with a complete scheme of anticovid-19 immunogens. This demands greater organization and availability of vaccination centers in order to move forward with the pending for the completion of the scheme

Meanwhile, the booster dose to be administered to vulnerable groups in a campaign (from the 10th of this month on), will be progressively accelerated to the entire population.
Currently there is an increase in the number of
infected people in Manicaragua. In view of the upsurge in the incidence of the
pandemic, the Temporary Municipal Working Group insist on the fulfillment of
institutional and population research, protection measures as well as the
control of the established protocols without neglecting the fight against
arbovirosis due to the infestation rates that currently exist in La Moza and
urban Manicaragua. This situation worsens the epidemiological panorama of the
municipality.
